Las Alamandas Resort

Las Alamandas is located midway between Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo on over 2,000 acres of pristine tropical paradise with only eight villas (18 suites) accommodating a maximum of 45 guests. Travel time to the resort from Puerto Vallarta Airport (PVR) 2 hours and from Manzanillo Airport (ZLO) 1.35 minutes

Villas Décor and Ambiance

The eight-villa hideaway manages like an elegant, private estate where guests feel completely at home. The villas have high-pitched tile roofs, shaded terraces and white ceramic floors. Walkways decorated with stone Mosaic wind through lush tropical gardens.

Each room is decorated in the jewel-like colors chosen by owner/developer Isabel Goldsmith. A pleasing mix of designs, fabrics, and arts & crafts were selected from all over Mexico. Rattan sofas, upholstered in canary yellow or shocking pink, hold brightly-colored embroidered cushions on which to take a siesta. Mexican folk-art and hand-painted artifacts enliven each room.

Accommodations include large, hand-painted, Mexican tile baths featuring oversized tub and shower, bidet, double sinks and large open shelving, as well as private terraces and full-sized living/dining areas. Kitchens are found only in the Casa del Sol Presidential Suite and in the Casa del Domo Master Suite. All suites furnished with a mini-bar.

Dining & Entertainment

The Oasis Restaurantis surrounded by palm trees and overlooks the ocean. Meals are served on the terrace to the beat of Mexican music. In the evenings, the gardens and the terrace are illuminated is candle-lit. The Oasis is open from 8am to 10.30 pm and dinner parties may be arranged with mariachis and beach bonfires. Executive Chef Alejandro Aguilar Morales creates wonderfully exotic and delectable dishes of Sushi, Mexican regional, Continental and American fusion cuisine. Most of the produce is grown organically on the property.

La Palapa Beach Clubis an oversized, thatched Palapa situated by the beach and adjacent to the 60-foot freshwater swimming pool. It serves as a welcome retreat from the sun as well as a beach bar and an ideal place to enjoy lunch in your bathing suit. Boogie boards are available for your enjoyment.

Bar Estrella Azul is an open-air, rooftop lounge decorated in shades of blue where cocktails are mixed with extraordinarily colorful sunsets and a sea of stars above.

Recreational Facilities & Activities

Facilities include a fully equipped gym with state-of-the-art weight machine, kids club, beach volleyball, table tennis, badminton, croquet, tennis courts, body boarding, horseback riding, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, snorkeling, boat rides, bird watching, fishing.
