This luscious, full-service, renovated manor house, just two hours from Midtown Manhattan and situated on over 200 secluded acres, is a hot spot for those craving a high-minded respite.

Surrounded by 250-acres of formal gardens, woodlands, and pastures, Troutbeck, found its beginnings in the late 18th century. The estate hotel has been modernized, conveying a certain contemporary ease and whilst achieving an unassuming standard of luxury for you and your guests. Overseen by Champalimaud Design, our aesthetic – including guestrooms and suites, public areas and event spaces, and detailed gardens – elegantly balance original historical details with modern sensibilities. Troutbeck offers 37 guestrooms in three distinct guesthouses and over 5,000 square feet of indoor event space. The Barns – our new 4,800 square foot wellness facility completed in 2020 – offers studio classes, includes a full gym, treatment rooms, a traditional and infrared sauna. During the summer, linger in the walled garden or laze riverside in one of our many hammocks. Bar & grill services are available at our heated outdoor pool. Two tennis courts and a fleet of complimentary bicycles are available, at any time. Private hiking trails reach within our 250 acres, offering wooded walks and scenic high elevations. Fly-fish, on an exclusive basis, along our two miles of trout river. We will arrange falconry and foraging on the estate, or canoeing and river rafting on the nearby Housatonic River. Lime Rock Park, the famed racetrack, offers year-round programming. During the winter months, guests may enjoy a wide array of winter sports, including skiing at the nearby and family-oriented Mohawk and Catamount mountains.

Cancellation Policy:

Your reservation may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to arrival to receive refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival, no shows, or early departures are subject to a charge of the full reservation value.

Given the nature of our preparations - well in advance of your arrival - there will be no exceptions to last-minute cancellations. Should you depart early prior to the departure date confirmed for any reason, the fully amount of the stay will be charged.
