Situated on South Andros Island in the Out Islands of the Bahamas, a visit to Tiamo is unlike most other experiences. Accessible only by boat or seaplane, with a private beach, only 10 villas and the Bird’s Nest in our resort, taking a vacation here really does enable you get away from it all. Indulge yourself in tropical surroundings: pristine white-sand beaches, lush green palm groves, and the clearest turquoise waters.

Philosophy - Nature is a big part of the attraction of Tiamo, and as such we’ve made every effort to ensure our resort is a part of nature too. At Tiamo, we combine luxury living with responsible environmental design. Our 11 villas blend tastefully into their natural surroundings, taking advantage of the indigenous tropical vegetation to provide each one with a very private setting. The properties are all built from sustainable pine wood, and are elevated on stilts to benefit from natural cooling and ventilation. Roofing is made from thatch that helps to insulate buildings and keep temperatures pleasant. Any external ingredients we bring in wherever possible are locally sourced and organic.

Save the Environment - Tiamo resort, respect the environment is a guideline and we always try to find how improve or sustainability. Living on the 3rd biggest coral reef of the world is essential for us to help the local community to preserve this natural treasure. In the contest we try to have no impact on this area.

Accommodation - With just 11 villas and 2 Rooms, Tiamo is an exclusive retreat, a place where you really can get away from it all. All 11 Villas on properties exude great charm. Built in a traditional Caribbean style, each one is surrounded by lush green palm trees and has direct access to the white-sand beach.

Activities - Tiamo, you can be as relaxed or as active as you like. Our resort is perfectly placed to take advantage of the calm Caribbean for some wonderful water sports activities (such as water skiing, wakeboarding…). For divers, a spectacular reef awaits just offshore, while the calm, colorful shallows are a paradise for snorkeling, doing paddleboard or a ride with a transparent canoe. Above the water, this Bahamian island lends itself to some classic sailing experiences and access to world class fishing , while the interior of South Andros is a haven for exploring one of Caribbean’s most pristine tropical wilderness areas.

The sophisticated, natural approach that defines our resort’s philosophy is applied to the food we serve in our restaurant, and our Michelin-trained chef will ensure you’re in very capable hands. • Peak Season, non-refundable after November 1st, and before Nov 1st is subject at mandatory two nights penalty
• High season, cancellation 30 days or less prior to arrival are fully non-refundable, cancellation 31 day or more to prior arrival is subject at mandatory us$ 300 penalty
• Low Season, cancellation 30 days or Less prior to Travel are fully non-refundable,
• Special offer: Cancellation 91 days or more of a confirmed Rooms or villa is subject to two nights penalty and Cancellation 90 days or less prior to Travel are fully non-refundable.
• No show will be penalized the entire length of stay, included all fees & charge imposed by Tiamo resort, the airlines, resort or other supplies will still apply.

In case of shortened length of stay, the cancellation policy will apply for the cancelled nights.
