About
Relais Roncolo 1888 is your hideaway in the Emilian countryside, in the heart of Italy’s Food and Motor Valley in Emilia. Surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills, at Roncolo time slows and hospitality feels natural.
A historic wine estate transformed into a romantic retreat and designed for those seeking quiet luxury, authentic experiences, and meaningful rest, Relais Roncolo 1888 is a meticulously refurbished historic borgo with 20 luxurious rooms and suites in the bucolic setting of our 320-acre eco-estate Tenuta di Roncolo in the Tuscan Apennine hills in Emilia.
Classic elegance and contemporary design echo the aesthetic of our historic residences. Each room and suite at Roncolo is unique, offering generous spaces, sustainable living, and panoramic views overlooking the Tuscan landscape.
Guests are invited to discover Italy's Food Valley and Motor Valley (think "fast cars, slow food") and immerse themselves in onsite experiences at Roncolo with fresh-pasta cooking classes, balsamic and wine experiences, ceramics classes, archery lessons or truffle hunting. Or venture out in one of our classic cars to visit Ferrari in Maranello or nearby towns Modena and Parma.
