Makepeace Island is a private luxury home, set on an exclusive use island and nestled in the tranquil waters of the Noosa River. THE ACCOMODATION

Exclusive use of Makepeace Island includes 3 oversized luxury villas, 4 spacious rooms in the Bali House and our unique Boathouse. Each room and villa have been designed for privacy, comfort and relaxation.

Bedding Configuration

South Villa: 1 king bed in master bedroom, king or 2 single beds in second bedroom, sitting room, shared bathroom

Central Villa: 1 king bed in master bedroom, king or 2 single beds in second bedroom, sitting room, shared bathroom

North Villa: 1 king bed in master bedroom, king or 2 single beds in second bedroom, sitting room, shared bathroom

Bali House: 4 bedrooms with twin or king bedding each bedroom with private ensuite

Boathouse: 1 king bed and ensuite (stairs only access)

THE FOOD

Our kitchen is led by highly acclaimed chef Zeb Gilbert, whose previous position before arriving at Makepeace saw him hold two coveted chef’s hats for seven consecutive years. Zeb and his team in the kitchen bring a wealth of knowledge to the table and are skilled in a number of cuisines. They enjoy curating bespoke menus for each stay, catered to all of your preferences. Zeb’s driving force has always remained the same; a focus on using and promoting local, seasonal produce. He works closely with local producers to ensure that our seasonally driven menus receive only the best the Sunshine Coast has to offer. Zeb will create culinary adventures in collaboration with you that will become a high point of your stay. We guarantee it.

Any cancellation by the client must be provided in writing to MPI, and are subject to payment of cancellation fees and will be effective only upon written acknowledgement by MPI.

If a cancellation is received > 90 days prior to arrival date, MPI will refund the deposit paid or a full refund will be paid where applicable.

If a cancellation is received between 90 days and 60 days prior to arrival date, MPI will retain or charge the full deposit (30% of the accommodation charge) as the fee.

If a cancellation is received < 60 days prior to arrival date but at least 30 days before the arrival date, a charge 50% of the booking cost is the fee.

If a cancellation is received < 30 days prior to arrival date, a charge 100% of the booking cost is the fee.

No refunds can or will be given in connection with circumstances arising beyond the reasonable control of MPI i.e. flight delays by airlines or client failure to appear for accommodation. No refund can be given for any unused services.
