With views direct to Uluru and across the desert to Kata Tjuta, Longitude 131˚ is Australia’s most celebrated luxury camp. Dotted among the red-rust dunes of the Central Desert are sixteen tented pavilions, each offering connection with the outback landscape and its heritage as well as a glamorous base from which to explore the incredible Red Centre. Unparalleled views of Uluru’s changing lights play out from the end of the bed, or on balconies from the warmth of a luxury swag unfurled in the cool night air. Custom furnishings invite stylish lounging, while works by local Indigenous artists offer inspiration. Guests observe the sights of the outback through floor to ceiling windows, relax on outdoor decks and sleep under a blanket of stars.

Designed with each detail refined and considered, the Dune House is a stunning and convivial meeting place for lounging, relaxing and swapping stories of desert discoveries with other guests. The finest premium produce is delivered to the Red Centre and combined with bush ingredients to offer guests a unique taste of Australia The daily changing menu emphasises fresh, quality produce to mirror the tranquil, spiritual surrounds - bush tucker at its best. A spectacular panorama of the extraordinary landscape provides a dramatic backdrop for enjoying a creative, contemporary Australian menu with a view to Uluru. A library complete with a collection of books, maps, historical literature and artefacts enables guests to trace the paths of those legendary explorers and enhance personal discoveries of Australia’s Red Centre. Adjacent to the Dune House, an outdoor swimming pool with terrace is an oasis amongst the sand dunes, inviting refreshment and total immersion in the pristine surroundings.

Guests at Longitude 131° embark on a signature itinerary of guided adventures, allowing a personal discovery with the Red Centre’s iconic natural attractions and First Nations heritage. A range of signature experiences are included in the tariff, including Uluru sunset, guided tours of Walpa Gorge and Kata Tjuta, Bruce Monro's field of light, the Mutitjulu meander, the Mala Walk to Kantu Gorge and the iconic Table 131°, an exclusive, unforgettable dining event in a desert setting under a canopy of stars. A range of bespoke and private experiences are also available at an additional cost, as well as tours run by local operators. Experiences are provided on an intimate shared basis with fellow guests at scheduled times. Times are seasonal and subject to sunrise and sunset which vary throughout the year, weather permitting. Touring rotates on a daily basis and all guests enjoy a personalised experiential touring itinerary, with activities scheduled depending on the time and day of arrival.

Cancellation Policy:

Bookings outside of festive season may be cancelled or amended prior to 60 days from arrival without forfeiture. Cancellations and booking amendments received between 60 and 30 days prior to arrival will incur a 50% fee. A non-refundable deposit applies to all bookings around the Christmas and New Year period (22 December – 4 January inclusive).

No refunds or credits can be given in the event of non-arrival, any unused services, or unused nights due to travel and/or weather disruption. For peace of mind, we recommend you protect yourself with comprehensive travel insurance to cover any cancellation fees.
