The Hôtel de Toiras***** enjoys an exceptional location at the entrance of the port of Saint-Martin-de-Ré, the historic capital of the island of Ré. The facade, typical of the old Île de Ré residences, subjected to the forces of the Atlantic Ocean for nearly four centuries, makes the hotel an integral part of this harbor town and endow it with great natural charm. The Hôtel de Toiras harmoniously combines the traditions of the Charente region with the comfort of a luxury hotel. Discerning travelers to this UNESCO World Heritage-designated town will find a haven of peace and authentic French Art de Vivre.
The mission of its owner, Olivia Le Calvez, consisted of reviving a 17th-century shipowner house like an invitation to a journey. She has initiated the revival of leading historical figures, artists, or explorers through fabrics, atmospheres, colors, antique furniture to transport you into a cozy and warm atmosphere. The decoration and the interior design of the Hotel de Toiras have been signed by Pierre-Yves ROCHON. Olivia Le Calvez also had the support of the best craftspeople of the Poitou-Charente region (Taillardat, Bronze d'Art Français, regional antiquarians,...) to highlight the history of the island of Ré.
Now, Hotel de Toiras host a new trendy restaurant George’s, with its large open kitchen and a glass wine cellar, and one of the most beautiful terraces on the island to watch a captivating sunset.

Cancellation Policy
The hotel applies different cancellation policies according to guests' stay dates. The range of cancellation policy is listed below:
- Free cancellation until 6 pm 7 days prior to arrival. A penalty of the entire stay including tax will be charged for late cancellation, no-show and early departure.
- The deposit is not refundable. In case of a modification or cancellation 21 days prior to the day of arrival, the total amount of the stay is due.
