About
Hermitage Bay is a luxurious, laid-back retreat set across 140 acres of lush tropical gardens overlooking the turquoise waters of Antigua’s west coast. The resort features 30 spacious villa suites, each with expansive verandas, seamless indoor-outdoor living, and many with private pools - designed for privacy, romance, and connection to nature.
Renowned for its all-inclusive offering, Hermitage Bay also provides a bed and breakfast option for added flexibility. A refreshed room category hierarchy introduces the Hillside Garden Pool Villa as the lead-in category, alongside Beach Pool Villas, Beachfront Villas, and Hillside Pool Villas Ocean View - each offering exceptional seclusion and breathtaking views.
Guests enjoy inspired dining by Executive Chef Desroy Spence, non-motorized water sports, guided farm tours, and exclusive experiences including sunset sailing and snorkeling aboard a 100-foot vintage schooner. The new beachfront spa offers island-inspired therapies designed to restore body, mind, and spirit.
We are absolutely thrilled to share that Hermitage Bay has been recognized on Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List 2026: The Best Hotels and Resorts in the US, Canada, and the Caribbean - a true celebration of its soulful luxury and exceptional hospitality.

Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation 31 or more days before arrival date
- 30 days - 0 days before day of arrival to day of arrival will result in a penalty charge of 100% of total stay
Please note: Any modification made to an existing reservation may be considered a cancellation of the original reservation, and cancellation charges may be applied accordingly, at the hotel's discretion.
TRAVELLERS' INSURANCE
We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance so that you can be reimbursed by your insurer for any loss in the event of an unforeseen circumstance, which may result in you having to cancel your reservation within the penalty period. We require a long penalty period, compared to a city hotel, for example, since we do not get last minute bookings or 'walk-ins’. As a holiday destination, most of our guests plan and book flights, in addition to booking a hotel room, at least 3 months in advance.
