About
Rich in history, young at heart.
The Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois lies at the very heart of the city of Basel. At the exact spot where, in the Middle Ages, the ships docked at the salt tower in order to transport that much sought-after product down the Rhine and out into the world. Discover Basel, the tri-border area and the charm of our region. Allow yourself to be pampered – to make your stay in our small cosmopolitan city unforgettable.
Culinary delights
Our two restaurants await you with creations that delight. Be they French haute cuisine, newly interpreted with Mediterranean and Asian influences in the Cheval Blanc by Peter Knogl (3 stars Guide Michelin & 19 points Gault Millau) or Swiss and French brasserie specialities with ingredients fresh from the market in our Brasserie: Experience for yourself how wonderful and intense culinary delights can be.
Feeling at home
101 rooms and suites are at the disposal of our guests. They combine history with the latest comfort. From the junior rooms through to the luxurious Suite Les Trois Rois in the art deco style: you will be completely comfortable in any one of our elegantly furnished guest rooms. Our employees, with their dedicated service, will ensure that you always feel at home.
