Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge, Beckons

Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge is Beckons' celebrated Canadian wilderness retreat, set on the edge of UNESCO-listed Clayoquot Sound on Vancouver Island and accessible only by seaplane or boat. Operating seasonally from May through September, the lodge features 25 luxurious safari-style canvas tents immersed within 600 acres of pristine temperate rainforest, where guests enjoy privileged access to one of Canada's most extraordinary natural environments.

Generously inclusive stays combine refined wilderness hospitality with immersive, expertly guided adventures by land, sea and sky. Days unfold with horseback riding, canyoning, kayaking, paddleboarding, wildlife encounters, heli-adventures and marine excursions, while evenings are spent around the campfire or enjoying exceptional cuisine inspired by the flavours of British Columbia.

The Cookhouse celebrates the region's remarkable produce through thoughtfully crafted menus showcasing sustainable local ingredients, while the waterfront Healing Grounds Spa offers restorative treatments inspired by the surrounding rainforest and coastline. Spacious guest tents combine handcrafted furnishings, contemporary comforts and private decks, creating an authentic luxury safari experience in one of the world's last great wilderness areas.

New for the 2026 season are three bespoke wilderness experiences: Walk the Wild Side on Flores Island, the floating sauna retreat at Lemmens Inlet, and Luminescent Nights bioluminescence kayaking, further enriching Clayoquot's immersive connection to place.

If cancellation is received and confirmed 91 days or more prior to arrival, a $500 per person cancellation fee applies. If cancellation is received 0-90 days prior to arrival, the reservation is 100% non-refundable. Travel Insurance is highly recommended.
