In 1931 Giuseppe Cipriani opened the doors to Harry's Bar in Venice. Cipriani's vision was clear: to do the simplest things, perfectly. 90 years and four generations later, Cipriani has grown a single restaurant into a globally recognized name for exceptional service, distinguished venues and unique hospitality around the world.
Located on the water in Lower Manhattan, the iconic Battery Maritime Building, one of the last remaining Beaux-Arts style ferry terminals of the twentieth century, designed in 1906, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. It has been developed into Casa Cipriani, a true private members club in the modern sense, bringing together an eclectic, culturally curious international community who shares life’s simple pleasures.
The building includes forty seven luxurious rooms and suites, overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty and the East River; 15,000 sq feet of spa and wellness center and a grand event ballroom with beautiful original architectural details.
