Is the rate the same as booking direct?
Yes. Virtuoso hotels commit to their best available rate or better for Virtuoso bookings, so you pay the hotel's own flexible rate and the perks come on top.
Why don't the perks cost extra?
The hotel pays the advisor a commission after your stay. The perks are part of the hotel's Virtuoso program, not a card benefit, so there's nothing to subscribe to.
Do I need a credit card or a membership?
No. The perks come with the booking. Membership is optional and adds dedicated trip-planning hours and priority access.
What if the hotel can't confirm my dates?
Nothing is booked or charged until the hotel confirms. If your dates aren't available, Geisel tells you and suggests alternatives with the same perks.
Can my AI assistant book Stays Perks?
Today an assistant can search our hotels, read each hotel's perks and send your request to Geisel. Booking inside the assistant, with payment approved by you and charged only after the hotel confirms, is in testing.
